MY STORY
Growing up my step Dad believed a son needed to earn his keep. He thought the best way to learn how to do something was to do it yourself.
I learned to do it right or I’d have to do it again.
This gave me an introduction to all things related to home repair. It ingrained in me a work ethic to do things smarter, do them well & finish what you start.
My wife of 30yrs and I married young then had 3 boys in five years. This meant money was tight. If something needed repairing or replacing. I needed to do it myself.
This combined with working as a landscaper for 15+yrs. Has given me a lot of experience & knowledge of a wide scope of repairs, renovations & yard care. Owning a machine shop gave me good business knowledge.
Seven years ago after being laid off for a second time. I told my wife to put an ad on Craigslist for handyman services.
I said, “Let’s just see what happens….”
Jump to the present & I have a combined handyman & lawn care business that I love! I love working with my hands, and having day-to-day variety & most of all helping people!
